Refund Policy

1. Overview

DevopsFriend sells one-time credit packs that are used to run AI-powered DevOps tools (config analysis, generators, and troubleshooting assistants). This policy explains when you are entitled to a refund and how to request one. All payments are processed by our merchant of record, Lemon Squeezy, who handles the actual refund transaction.

2. Unused Credits (14-Day Refund)

If you purchased a credit pack and have not yet used the credits, you may request a full refund within 14 days of the purchase date. Refunds are issued to your original payment method.

3. Partially Used Purchases

Because tool runs are delivered instantly and consume credits the moment they execute, credits that have already been used are non-refundable. If you have only used part of a credit pack, we may, at our discretion, issue a partial refund for the remaining unused credits within the 14-day window.

4. Failed Runs

If a tool run fails due to a technical error on our side after credits were deducted, those credits are automatically returned to your balance. You are never charged for a run that did not complete. If an automatic return does not happen, contact us and we will restore the credits or refund the corresponding amount.

5. Non-Refundable Situations

  • Credits that have been used to generate a completed result.
  • Dissatisfaction with the AI output itself. The Service provides guidance and automation assistance, not a guarantee of correctness for your specific environment, and subjective dissatisfaction with AI output is not grounds for a refund.
  • Requests made more than 14 days after the purchase date.
  • Free credits granted to new accounts (these were never paid for).

6. How to Request a Refund

Email us at contact@devopsfriend.com from the email address associated with your account. Include your order ID (from the Lemon Squeezy receipt) and a brief reason for the request. We aim to respond within 3 business days. Approved refunds are processed back to your original payment method and may take 5–10 business days to appear, depending on your bank or card issuer.

7. Chargebacks

If you have a billing concern, please contact us first — we are happy to resolve issues directly. Initiating a chargeback without contacting us may result in suspension of your account.
