Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using DevopsFriend ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

DevopsFriend is an AI-powered tool that analyzes DevOps configuration files (Dockerfiles, docker-compose.yml, and .env files) and returns structured findings, scores, and a hardened rewrite. The Service is provided as guidance and is not a substitute for a professional security audit.

3. Accounts

  • You must sign in with a valid Google account.
  • You are responsible for all activity under your account.
  • One account per person. We may terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Credits & Payments

  • New accounts receive complimentary credits. Additional credits are purchased via one-time payments through Lemon Squeezy.
  • Credits do not expire and are non-refundable after use. Unused purchased credits may be refunded within 14 days of purchase by contacting us.
  • If an analysis fails after credits are deducted, credits are automatically refunded.
  • We may adjust pricing with notice.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Submit content that is illegal, harmful, or violates third-party rights.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, abuse, or overload the Service.
  • Resell or redistribute analyses generated by the Service.
  • Use automated scripts to access the Service without prior written permission.

6. Intellectual Property

  • Your content: you retain ownership of the files you submit. By submitting, you grant us a limited license to process them solely to generate your analysis. We do not store the submitted file after processing (see our Privacy Policy).
  • Our content: the Service, its design, and the analysis report format are our intellectual property.

7. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is." We make no warranties that analyses will be accurate or complete. AI-generated findings may contain errors. Treat them as guidance, not a certified security audit. You remain responsible for reviewing changes before applying them to production systems.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access for violations of these Terms, with or without notice. Upon termination, unused credits are forfeited unless we decide otherwise at our discretion.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the Service.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
